Hello Bangkok!!! My very first day in bangkok started crappy...
Upon arrival in the airport in bangkok and proceed in claiming my luggage, just to realized that they broke my luggage lock as well as my luggage stand. Items in my luggage, thankfully are still there but was in a minior mess... I was so annoyed and upset about this already when i recieved another news saying that my hotel had a electrical breakdown and had to transfer me to another one.
As my other two friends booked seperately from us they also experienced similar issues but no email was sent to them informing them about this screwd up. Thankfully the staff at The Hotel 93 was kind and helpful to find a cheaper yet plesant hotel for us to stau and helped us settele the admim stuff as well as contacting the 3rd party hotel provider to settle out stay.
However, once the hotel issue was kinda sorted out we did what we came to Bangkok for....SHOPPINGGG!!! We first went to platinum mall to find a new luggage for me. The mall has three sections to it... platinum mall 1-3, it was Seriously huge and amazing.. prices there had gone up a little bit and is pricer than before. However, the things there are relatively decent and nice...
After that we had luch at this place where they sell like 0.40¢ per bowl of wonton noodle.. is was yummy and AWESOME cheap... literally we can write like 30 bowls... now wonder they call the place boat noodle,Cos the stacking of the bowls kinda look like a long boat... we didn't eat much though..
After that we went to asiatique. we room their BTS (train) and then a boat ride Which costs like 20 bhat per person in total... upon arrival we did more shopping till dawn.... the stuff at asiatique are decent and cheap as well (in my opion) we did some drinking and eating before doing more shopping... we went and did the fish spa there as well Which was like $6. Let me tell you it was hella ticklish.... o couldn't stand it!!!
After asiatique we sorted end our day there Nd headed back to the hotel.... that practically sums up my day!!!
Stay tune for Bangkok day 2
